We're looking for an experienced Wisconsin-licensed Journeyman Electrician to join our Electrical Department. You'll work primarily on new construction and remodel projects within approximately 40 miles of Weston, WI , giving you the opportunity to do quality electrical work while staying closer to home.

What You'll Earn

$38.00–$45.00 per hour

Overtime paid at 1.5× your base rate after 40 hours per week.

What You'll Be Doing

As a Journeyman Electrician, you'll take ownership of electrical installations on residential and commercial construction projects.

Your work will include:

  • Understand and apply the principles of code-compliant electrical work in both residential and commercial settings.
  • Install, repair, and maintain electrical wiring, fixtures, panels, devices, equipment, and related systems.
  • Work in operating commercial and residential settings in all weather conditions.
  • Measure, cut, bend, and install conduit, raceways, boxes, cable trays, wiring, and electrical components.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, electrical drawings, schematics, and specifications accurately to complete installations.
  • Lay out and mark the position of electrical installations, device locations, panel locations, conduit runs, and equipment for the team.
  • Work independently without direct supervision, managing all job phases effectively and safely.
  • Maintain current licensing and training requirements.
  • Ensure proper stocking of materials and truck inventory, communicating additional needs to prevent return trips.
  • Use ladders, scaffolding and lifts to work on electrical systems.
  • Complete commercial and residential service installations and service upgrades.
  • Install standby generators and transfer switches.
  • Add electrical devices and equipment to new and existing systems.
  • Properly size conduit, wire, and overcurrent protection for newly added electrical equipment.
  • Order materials and components in advance of installation.
  • Electronically document job specific details and as-built drawings.

What We're Looking For

  • Wisconsin Journeyman Electrician License – Required
  • 5+ years of construction electrical experience
  • Strong blueprint and electrical drawing skills
  • Solid knowledge of conduit, wiring, panels, fixtures, devices and raceways
  • Ability to work independently and take responsibility for getting the job done correctly
  • Strong attention to safety, quality and workmanship
