Job Description

Salary: $79,500 - 139,100 per year Requirements:

  • We require 5+ years of experience in procurement, supply chain, inventory management, contract management, lease administration, or operations.
  • We require 5+ years of relevant strategic sourcing experience, including vendor negotiations, global contract management, process improvement, and operational and financial analysis.
  • We require a bachelors degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, Finance, or a related technical field.
  • We require experience using data analysis tools such as Advanced Excel, SQL, Tableau, or Python.
  • We require experience in global supply chain management and leading cross-functional teams in a fast-paced consumer electronics product environment.
  • Preferred qualifications include 4+ years of experience in program, project, or product management, or leading a product implementation process.
  • A masters degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred.

  • We require willingness to travel up to 15–20% of the year.
Responsibilities:
  • We develop and execute global supply chain strategies for long lead equipment, delivering high-quality solutions on time and at optimal cost.
  • We manage end-to-end supply chain activities, including supplier on-time delivery, capacity planning, logistics, inventory management, and lead time optimization.
  • We align demand signals with supplier capacity to maintain unconstrained supply at AMER scale.
  • We build and sustain strategic supplier relationships for assigned categories.
  • We monitor supplier performance and allocate equipment to demand based on priority.
  • We proactively identify and reduce supply chain risks to protect uninterrupted delivery of critical electrical systems.
  • We partner with Design Engineering, Planning & Delivery, DCSP teams, and Delivery Management to support electrical infrastructure product roadmap development.
  • We collaborate with engineering, product management, quality, and demand planning teams on procurement decisions.
  • We influence supplier and technology selection to maximize value for AWS.
  • We drive standardization initiatives across programs to reduce complexity and improve supply chain efficiency.
  • We identify and implement innovative supply chain technologies and best practices to improve flexibility and resilience.
  • We track industry trends and emerging technologies in electrical distribution to maintain a competitive edge.
  • We develop predictive analytics models for demand forecasting and capacity planning.
  • We create analytical reports that provide actionable insights to business partners and stakeholders.
  • We support data-driven decision-making for electrical equipment procurement.
  • We serve as a subject matter expert for the customers, technologies, and markets we engage with.
